do you know it has always been strange to me, categorizing anything according to genders. Because i always defended that if we did not have genders the whole cosmos would be different. Although i try to deny it strongly , many times i see that gender makes a difference. being negative or positive is not important , gender just matters. the capacity of our brains are similiar according to me. the thing is through the time that people grow up, all the things that happen and shape their lifes are basicly connected to gender. At the begining if you are a boy they buy you blue cloths and pink for a girl ofcourse! In my mind on some points, being open minded and free have connections with the things that you can leave,add or manage to change. Even you don not do it the important thing is having that ability. Especially for art ofcourse. What you do on the canvas or on the paper is a reflection of you. As you want to show it to people. And every time i think about art and gender i see how differently a woman or a man plays his/her role. It is strange but somehow i can guess if a painting belongs to a woman or a man. Okay not always but many times So this link you have send me was like a salt to my thoughts about all those.
And ofcourse the radius is bigger than painting, you may think about sculpture, architecture or any kinds of plastic arts ect.. I was just focusing on painting.
